    Default Bluetooth connection

I've been unsuccessful in connecting my 700W to a Pioneer radio in my car using Bluetooth. Pioneer states it is difficult, but possible. Unfortunately they could not offer assistance. Any suggestions?

There are several questions but I have a few:

    1) What version bluetooth is the Pioneer?
    2) I have a 700wx and I know mine doe snot, but does your 700w support Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)?
    3) Are you trying to listen to your phone calls thru the stereo with a car kit or just trying to play music from the phone to your stereo?

    1) The manual says Bluetooth 1.1 certined.
    2) I don't know if my 700W has A2DP.
3)The radio, a Pioneer AVIC-Z1, has been modified with a Bluetooth unit that should allow the driver to download contact info from the phone to the radio. That contact info will appear on the screen, when activated, and the driver can make calls using the touch screen, or receive calls over the speaker system

Im wondering since the radio is 1.1 BT and the phone is 1.2 BT, could that be a problem? Also, I dont believe the 700w is A2DP complaint. Just hold tight, there will be a hack out there you can use shortly.
