Calendar times shifting???

I'm new to the forum, hope I'm not repeating a question that's already been answered.

The problem I'm having is with the scheduled items in my calendar. I've had this happen twice; once when I traveled to the west coast and this week with the time change. What happened in each case is the time of a scheduled activity in the calendar changed when the time or time zone changed.

For example, went to the west coast for a meeting at 2:00. When I landed and the time updated on the phone the meeting now showed 12:00.

For time change it shifted all my scheduled items one hour earlier.

How do you correct this? I previously had the 650 and never had these issues. I believe that this happened in Outlook as well when I turned on my computer in CA and the time updated. I've never had to use Outlook before this phone, not sure what I'm missing.
