Call In Progress?

I've recently run into a problem with my 700wx, where it's supposed to say "sprint" at the top of the today screen it will randomly read "call in progress" when i'm clearly not on a call. During this time i can't make any calls or receive any calls but i've been told that my phone is indeed ringing during this time, just not on my end. I can send text messages, but can't receive or make phone calls while the "CALL IN PROGRESS" message reads on the screen. Is there anyone out there that has dealt with this issue, i'm hoping it's something small... i am a newbie.

I've encounterd this a few times also.I habe no explaination as to why,but a soft reset fixes it for me.

Does a soft reset fix it for only a short period of time or for a long time?? I ask cuz maybe a hard reset may be better in the long run. Granted they may want and need to backup their info on the treo first.

I've done multiple soft resets, none seem to fix the problem, i guess i have no choice but to hard reset....blah!

This happened to me and I think it is because I had my Treo700wx from Sprint check the internet for new messages every 5 minutes and I think I overloaded the RAM or something. When I changed the setting for messaging to manual, that went away. Hope this helps.
