    Default Can A Treo 700w Be Charged Via USB?

    Is there a way to charge my Treo 700w by connecting it to the USB 2.0 on my Dell laptop? Is there such an adapter?

    yes, I do it all the time - in the car (charger is car/wall adaptible as well as a USB charge/sync cable).

    Remember though, the usb port has to be hot - so the computer needs ot be on or hibernating.

    I think the computer has to be on or in STAND BY modes for there to be power to the USB ports. The computer still has power in STAND BY mode. When the computer is in HIBERNATION mode, there is no power to it.

    I just tested these modes on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 600m) and my Gateway desktop.
