Can you open attachments???

Sorry for all the post im a rookie to the treo series.
I went on hotmail but couldnt look at the attachments does anyone know why?

Somethimes a window pops up and says "that it will download the attachment next time you send and recieve" So tap menu and hit send and recieve, might have to wait a little and close and reopen hotmail, but this should do it. Make sure you trust the sender, don't want virus!!!!!

there is no send receive

when you have the email open, go to menu, and mark for download. then the next time you do a sync, you will get that attachment. reason they do this is so attachments don't eat up space on the device.

Thats all that comes up after hitting menu. Sorry if im a bother but i dont get what you're talking about

not a problem maybe i have it wrong lol. there like a paper clip on the email when your in the inbox? if so tap on that, and that should bring up the mark for download


lots of device's out there and i cant keep them str8 half the time heh.

Not working for hotmail because no paper clip is howing but im going to see if it works on my yahoo mail because i know the clip is on there

Are you looking at homail via internet explorer? The other posts are referring to email that is synchronized to the device from Outlook, or retrieved via POP, or pushed, etc.

heh yea guess i should of asked that, just assumed he was useing wireless sync :/
