    Need Help Can't remove programs

    I have tried several times to remove applications and they don't go away. I have used both the ad/remove program option in Active Sync and also the same option on the Treo 700. I'm new to the Treo but a power PPC user (iPAQ 4355) so I know my way around fairly well. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Yes, we all have that problem. The programs really aren't there when you remove them, but a "ghost" icon is. THat's my sense of the problem. Don't think anyone has been able to resolve it. I called Palm and posed the question. THey said the only solution is a hard reset.

    My advice - live with it till that fateful day when you must do a hard reset.

    Thanks. It sounds like they forgot something in WM 5 ... huh. Maybe this TREO isn't worth the effort this time. THey also removed the backup program from WM_2005 so they can sell more 3rd party apps I suppose.
