Default Cingular and Treo 700W

When will Cingular release the Treo 700w?

John-
No official word from Palm on when this might happen. Verizon has a 6 month exclusive, so don't look for a 700w release on Cingular before mid-year.

I will wait until summer 2006 for the Cingular 700W PDA / phone.

Not to be a "Verizon" salesperson here, but, I JUST finished my number porting and moving of 4 company lines to Verizon today. AND, I'm PAYING the $600 in cancellation fees to Sprint!

Sprint probably is closest behind Verizon as far as Data networks, but IMO, Verizon has this nailed. Their EVDO implementation is about 2 years ahead of the other networks.

So, if you need high speed data, consider trying it out on Verizon. Afterall, they've got a 15 day give back policy...
