This is a discussion on closing programs within the Treo Smartphones forums; You can just hold down "ok" to manually shut down the programs....

    You can just hold down "ok" to manually shut down the programs.

    dont think so, that just closes the menus I believe or the window that is open. Open something then hit ok then go into settings -> memory and see what is running, that should get you your answer

    kick a55, I didnt even know that thanks! Once a program is started it stays on until ended. I noticed my pictures program was still on and I used it 5 hours ago. There is a program that ends the running programs for you but I cant think of the darn name of it

    it brings up the running programs window, but didnt do anything else, I had to manually close them, all but the phone program
