Default Closing Unwanted Applications

We all know that the Treo will not really close the apps when you hit the "X" like Windows XP does for example. However, I used to have a Dell Axim and there was a program that I had running on it that made the "X" actually close the program when you hit it.

There would be no need for "Magic Button," which I have now, but don't really like.

Does anyone know of a program that will close the app you are running instead of staying in the background eating up your memory?

otherwise, you'll have to hold the "ok" button until the memory mgmt window opens, then you can "stop all" or select programs from running and free up some space...

personally, i think the solution from the post i linked is arguably the best option

I use sbpPocket Plus on my Axim for the today screen and also to close apps with the X.

I use battery pack pro, you can also get VBar, Xbar3 and many others. You will find that a soft reset (equal to turning on and off your PC as you do already) will clean up the missing RAM that even task mgrs cannot reclaim.

 Is anyone else having problems with the OK button? I have it set up to unlock the keyboard, is that why it does not work to close all programs. After unlocking the keyboard, I then hold the OK button down and nothing happens.... Thoughts? Never mind... OPERATOR ERROR. I was using the center button not the OK button... sorry!
