    Question Correction: can i unlock a 700wx from sprint to at&t?

    It wouldn't let me fix the title in the other post...sorry for the duplicate! it is a 700wx, my mistake!

    we were having coverage problems with Sprint where we live, so we switched to At&t and I tried a different phone, but I want my treo back!

    can I unlock my 700wx and use it on At&t?

    No, Sprint is on a CDMA network and AT&T is on a GSM network. The two and not compatible at all. The changes would have to be hardware related, and I'm not aware of anyone that's done that yet.

    I will soon be switching from Sprint to AT&T as well. I'll be getting that new ipaq 910 (similar to the 700w). It's expensive, but I'm thinking may be worth it.
