How to block the Palm treo 700w from searching for data. I dont know if there is anyway to do this but i want to know. If anyone can help that would be great thanks...

far as i am aware of there is no way that you can do that

don't tell me that! damn I really want this phone WITHOUT the damn data connection. Can anyone else confirm as my phone died today and I would like to order a new phone. The 700W would be sweet.

for those of you who think the phone is a waste without the data plan, think about having to manage a task list up to 50 items long plus your calendar. I have no use for data at all.
