    Default Deleting Wi-fi networks

How does one delete wireless networks that are no longer useful, but have accumulated over time? There is an option to add a network, but no obvious way to delete. Unfortunately on startup, the Wi-fi program appears to cycle through all networks for a signal and this slows things down if the list is long. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
