Direct Push

Has anyone heard ANYTHING about Palm releasing an update that includes the Messaging and Security Feature Pack that will allow the 700w to utilize direct-push email? Other vendors have already released this feature. Being charged for every text message that the Exchange Server sends to the phone to tell it to sync is not a viable option for those of us who receive a large number of emails daily.

the rumblings i've been hearing are that the update should come sometime next month, and that in order to get the update you'll have to take your phone to a vzw dealer to get it done...it's supposedly gonna be done via SD slot...but these are all just rumors so far.
