Does Pocket AIM work on the Treo 700wx? wondering because of the screen

Hi I plan on getting a Treo 700wx Sprint next week. Currently I have Verizon XV6600, which has the regular rectangle screen. I can run Pocket AIM, but I am wondering if the Treo 700WX will also be able to run it because the 700WX has a square screen. I have included the link for the program, or does anyone know an alternative that they use to get on AIM thats compatible

If someone could install it and tell me. I have included an official link from AIM, so you don't need to be worried of viruses and stuff.
