Email and the Treo 700w

I have had a mixed bag with my new treo regarding email. VERY easy to setup but it has trouble with large POP mail servers. I have forwards most of my mail to my fastmail.fm account and it seems to be MUCH better but some of my accounts won't forward, cough hotmail cough.

I have four email addresses:

hotmail
gmail
wustl (old college that i use for web/spam)
nyu (new school)

I was using onlymyemail to filter all my spam but the treo does NOT like downloading from onlymyemail. takes forever and usually stalls. That's why I am trying to forward my gmail, wustl, and nyu account to my fastmail and just download the fastmail onto the treo. We'll see how it goes.

Hotmail is set to download mail every five minutes but it just never does...i have to manually do it. Any ideas?
