Email Forwarding Issue - Treo Forums

I noticed that when I forward an email from my Treo the original email comes as an attachment in Outlook. This is no problem except that when the person I forwarded the email to opens the attachment and then responds to the original emailer.

I don't want someone to email one of my customers with a smart comment meant for me. (And yes it has happened)

Is there a setting for this or a patch or anything.

By the way, is it proper to bump your own thread?

I was having the same problem. If you tap on the "edit message" link that appears in the body when forwarding, it will forward the email within the body of your email, rather than as an attachment. You can test it by forwarding an email to yourself.

This works for the most part. It completely works if I receive an email and forward it on. However, if I am forwarding a thread the "edit message" only allows you to include the last part of the original email as part of my forward. The first portion of the thread still comes as an attachment.
