Smile Exchange Server

2 problems

I am unable to set up my exchange server. I have my user name, password, and domain, and server address but I am unable to set up email.

I can receive email from my home account on my phone, but can not send email.

Please Help!!!!

What version of Exchange and SP? Do you have a firewall in front of the Exchange Server? Are you using POP or IMAP?

Question

I am assuming it is Micro - Exchane 2003. My service provider is Sprint.
Don't think there is a firewall. (how do i know?)
I used a POP3 for my home account. The exchange server there was not an option.

E2K3 with SP 2 and if you are running the Microsoft Security Feature Pack (on the Treo 700w) then it is pretty easy to configure.

You may need to engage your tech support at your company because it is a little hard to troubleshoot this without knowing your environment.

Also.....There is a setting in ActiveSync that will allow you to turn up logging on the device. This will normally shed some light on what type of error you are getting.

Try going to https://companyname/exchange/oma and see if you can get logged in.
