Exporting Text Messages to PC???

Does anyone have any idea how to sync text messages to the PC? I have over 1000 that I need to keep for work before I send my treo in for some fixing and no idea how to do it.

i've been wondering this as well, i'd love to save some texts.

I think you should be able to export them to an expansion card and with a card reader save them on your computers hard drive

I just forward them to my email.

I have the same problem. I need to get my phone fixed and need to save some messages, too many to forward to my email. I'm not tech savvy, so I'm not sure how to export to expansion card. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

to forward a text message select the text message press menu (right action key) and select forward yo should be able to select location to forward to and send to your expansion card. Otherwise you can go to explorere on the desk top find your mobile device find the message and use the desktop explorere to move it from the device to the card. I thibk I saw that elsewhare as answer to movioving sim card contacts to outlook the process should be able to be done the same way I would think.

I actually have over 6000 text messages on my Verizon Palm Treo 700W that I need to copy to my PC. Verizon says there is NO way to do this. I don't mind buying a product to accomplish this. Being a tech novice I need help please.

go to the desktop explorer and find your mobile device and see if you can locate your text messages and see if you can select all then copy to a directory in your desktop like ...mycomputer/my documents/my text messages

Just tried that. Explorer shows the device but Explore nor Open will show me anything on the device???

I think you can only save the files from that folder... but I'm not sure also if you can put them back in the device and view them properly as SMS...

correct me if I'm wrong pls... i also wanna know...
