FTP Program for Treo 700w

Anyone know of an FTP client that will work on the Treo 700w? I tried a few Windows Pocket PC and CE based programs, but couldnt find on that worked on Windows Mobile 5/Treo.

You might want to have a look at Avvenu which is a web enabled FTP

I haven't used it myself but there's an article that says it works well with 700w

Not sure that this is what you're looking for, but it is a possible solution to look at.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think it's free too...

if you are trying to FTP to a specific PC you can use www.orb.com. load the program on your PC and it has a file explorer you can send and recieve filed from. It will also let you view and listen to Video, music, and pictures you have on you PC. Also it has a great plugin that lets you view your Tivo shows if you have a tivo on your network.

I found an FTP program for Pcket PC 2002 (vxFTP) that works ok with the 700w (same old screen shape issue)....but it is $40 and Im a FREE kinda guy.

Avvenu is a really sweet deal and Im using it for other purposes, but Im not in love with how it ZIPs everthing up. I will keep using Avvenu as a great way to have info available whether Im on home PC, laptop, work, etc. Great lead!

ORB looks realy interesting as it does EXACTLY what I was after: give me access to my gigs of music on my home PC without trying selectively sync based on what I 'might' want that day. Has anyone used it? I cannot find a price or a FREE notation anywhere.......

ORB is free. I use it and like it very much. Very easy to install and use. It works very well with the 700w. I have used it for moving files and watching shows from off of my TIVO. I dont use it for music because I have an IPOD for that.

I was also looking for an FTP program to log into our servers and decided to try Resco Explorer which has FTP built into it. It worked perfectly. I had to choose Passive mode for some of our server but once I did, I was able to log right in. I updated a client's site Friday night and then checked it all as I was sitting at a bar having a beer.

I haven't tried it yet - but can't you go to IE and type ftp://site.com?

I haven't tried that but most of the servers I connect to don't allow that.

Give it a shot for grins... all the ftp servers I connect to I can do from IE.
