Get RID of Hotmail!!! - Treo Forums

Hi all -

I know this may seem a little anal, but somehow I have a hotmail account in my messaging section. I was fiddling around with the unit (I have had it for two weeks) on MSN, and somehow (unbeknowst to me) I ended up with a hotmail account listed in my messaging accounts. It does NOT appear in the list where you can delete an account!

How on EARTH can I delete it? I do know how to delete other accounts, as I have done so in the past....

Any help would be appreciated!

You cannot delete the Hotmail account short of doing a hard reset which you do not want to do. Also Verizon has confirmed that Microsoft has terminated the option to receive Hotmail messages on the handheld. This is why sometimes you get the message that the phone cannot connect to the Hotmail server.

I have the Sprint 700wx and have never received any problems with getting my MSN or Hotmail Emails yet!?!?

Can you not just use your stylus to click and hold on the account name? Go to menu, tools, options. There you should see "Hotmail" or whatever its called. Just click and hold for a couple seconds and a menu will pop up giving you the option to delete.

Unfortunately it does NOT show up in the account list - that would be too easy......lol
