 |  Gmail app for treo??? I ran across this article this morning on cnet.com. http://news.com.com/Google+launches+...l?tag=nefd.top It does not work on my Treo 700w and I am guessing it is not supposed to. Could someone explain why? Thanks! |

  | I read this too, but couldn't find the download link. Can you post it? It's java based, so I'm guessing there is additional (read bulky) software that needs to be installed to get it working on the 700w. -Chris

| Looks like it only supports Palm OS based Treo 700p,680 and 650.

| Hey, I'm a newbie so you might have already thought of this... The Treo 700 supports pop3 access, I already use gmail on mine. Enter these settings incoming: pop.gmail.com outgoing: smtp@gmail.com And your account info under Messaging>Menu>Tools>New account |

| what is the deal with Google going so many palm based apps lately? Google maps is only for palm based OS and now gmail only for Palm OS?
