    Default Having Trouble Dismissing Alarm

    Hi-

For a year now, I have been setting the alarm on my Treo under Settings -> Clock & Alarms -> Alarm.

Recently, when the alarm goes off, the "dismiss" notification no longer pops up. Due to that issue, I can't turn the alarm off and it keeeps ringing every minute. I've been taken out the battery, and on reboot, the alarm starts again.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any way to resolve without a hard reset?

    Thanks.

Now..when you say a hard reboot?? How exactly do I do that? I have taken the battery out and I have also pressed the reset button, but no luck.
THanks you so much for the reply...

Hold down the power (on/off) button on your device.

While holding down the power button, turn over your device so that you can see the back of it. Still holding the power button, use an unfolded paper clip or a similar small object, to gently press the RESET hole on the back.

When the Palm Computing Platform or Palm Powered logo appears, release the power button.

Ok..I went through those steps.. a screen came up and ask if " Erase all data ( press up) for NO ( press down)
I didn't do anything at that point, instead I released the power button. Should I have done something different? :foot:

You have to press Up for the hard reset to complete. it will erase your entire device and you'll have to start over as if you just purchased it. this was the only way i could solve the problem.

That I'm not sure about. If you synch with Outlook on your computer, then you should just be able to resynch and get all of your contacts back on your phone. Sorry I can't be more help.
