Default Help!! 700W works great except that......

I upgraded the software the other day so I have the latest version from the Palm site, it works great, love it, except that as a phone it is TERRIBLE!! 80 to 90% of the time (this is after the upgrade!) people can't hear me although I can hear them. They or I have to end the call, call back, and then usually it's okay. Once I had to try 3 times to finally get through so the person I called could hear me. It appears there is some glitch in the 700w in this regard. I have Verizon, if that makes any difference. Please please if you have any suggestions let me know!!! Patch is needed asap!!!

What software was updated and what version. I updated to the latest version several months ago and have no problems like you describe.

I upgraded from version 1.02 to 1.22. Now the internet works great, IM is questionable but may not be due to that, but the phone issue seems to still exist.

I had the same problem when I downloaded the 1.22 upgrade so I went back to the palm website and downloaded the audio patch from downloads help & support.this fixed the problem for me I also have 700w/x from verizon.go there & download your audio patch it fixes other issues as well .let me know how you make out.keep in mind everytime you do a hard reset you have to reinstal the audio patch it goes in the main memory of your device not the memory card.
