Help!! Cant Text..

I downloaded the sms threading program on my 700w several weeks ago...but lately, texts have not been sent timely, or not received at all, or sent multiple copies...so i wanted to just go back to the default sms program.

i removed the program and resco explorer, but now when i try to load "SMS" on the main screen i get an error that says, "The File "Messaging" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file".

any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. thanks!

This will sound bad but...hard reset will likely restore this function. I know what this means in terms of work to reload s/w and data but it could be the threader program over-wrote some of the required files for the original program to operate and it has no recovery without a full restore. Good luck and hope there is another way.

yeah, i just reinstalled the sms threading program and it works, but still sends multiples...

any idea what might be causing this?

I'll bet this is your provider and not SMS Threading.
