Default HELP! Drowing in contacts... how to remove?

New TREO 700w user and love it so far. I have a synch working with my company and get my mail. We use Salesforce.com and I inadvertently had it load contacts into my Address Book in OUTLOOK. Now I have 800+ contacts on my TREO. I removed them from the address book, but they remain on my TREO. Short of deleting them one by one, is there another way?

    Many thanks! Butch

If they are no longer in Outlook, they should no longer be in your Treo. You're sure they're gone from Outlook?

    Default Not in Outlook

Thanks for respondng. If I go to OUTLOOK, and get into the Address Book, I see our corporate addresses. I then select "Show names from the: CONTACTS" and I see the list with the ones I deleted gone. The names in the GLOBAL LIST are internal company addresses, are did not move to the TREO -- only the ones in the Contact List.

The "Address Book" in Outlook is basically just a collection of lists.

Meaning, it USED to be a database of names/addresses/phones/etc... But now, it's really just a link to other things, like the Global Address List, or your Contacts.

So, just to clarify, you are saying that you've got X names in your contact list, and even though your Treo is syncing fine, your Treo has X + Y (Y being the ones you deleted from your contact list in Outlook)?

Yes -- exactly, and the "Y" amount to several hundred names deleted from the CONTACTS portion of my OUTLOOK Address Book

Hmmm, I've played around with this... Can't reproduce...

I'm using Microsoft CRM. It seems to work perfectly.

Sorry, I don't have anything to offer.
