    Default Help for the Newbie

    Hello you all,
    Just recently got my first Treo. A 700wx, downloaded some software for it but when it sent it to me in a text message I tapped the link and it would not load the page, as in the screen was white, no pics no text, nothing. Any ideas? Also would like to know of the best place to get software for my phone. And how good is the Windows version compared to the palm operating system?? Any help given I will be grateful for.:wink:

    Not sure what happened when you downloaded, but the Windows is much better than Palm OS as Palm OS is dead. Don't bother with it. I would just google for the type of app you want, as there's many sites - and some are free. Handango and MobileGear are two places - but they charge for the apps. Hope this helps some.
