Default Help: Functionality of Windows Mobile

I have a question. I'm trying to decide between a 700w and a 700p.

I'm wondering how functional the Windows Mobile interface is. I tried it at the Verizon store, and it felt like I had to do 3+ clicks to get from one application to the next (e.g. ok, open window, scroll to application, click). Is that the case, and does it get annoying/cumbersome?

One of the things I've appreciated about the Palm OS platform was that I could get anywhere I needed to go in 2-3 clicks. It was just faster that way.

Thoughts? I'd appreciate input.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Simple things like turning on speakerphone can become a bit cumbersome on the 700w. The Palm OS is more refined, simple and easier to use.

I have both the 700p and the 700w and when it comes to ease of use and one-handed operation, the 700p is ahead. Ben
