HELP with keyguard.
If you check manual for the 700p (on page 299):
http://www.palm.com/us/support/handb...psprint_UG.pdf
1. Incoming calls received: Disables the screen when the phone rings. You must use the 5-way to select the onscreen Answer and Ignore buttons, or press Talk to answer the call or Power/End to ignore the call.
2. On a call: Disables the screen after you answer a call. You must use the
5-way to select the onscreen buttons during the call. Use this
setting to avoid accidentally pressing onscreen buttons while you’re
holding your device near your ear to speak.
I want to be able to lock the screen for incoming calls received (not just during calls), what happens is that I turn on the keyguard and when I take the phone out of my pocket or holster when its ringing it answers before i can even look to see whos calling from bumping the touchscreen.
Are there any apps for this? or a thread that I havent found?
Thanks again for all of your help on this. __________________
how do I Disable the Touchscreen call answer function?

I just want to disable the touchscreen for incoming calls on a Treo 700wx (as opposed to just disabling it during calls)

Do you have any software installed that has an auto-answer feature turned on that may be assisting in this?

No I dont have any non-standard software installed. THe problem is that the feature to lock the screen for incoming calls isnt there. The touchscreen can only be disabled during a call on the 700wx. Im trying to find an application/work around that will work the way the screen guard works on the 700p.
