Hotmail and Fastmail - Treo Forums

I have the wx for a little while. I have been using hotmail with no problems. Two days ago I set up my phone to receive fastmail account. Since then I notice that when I receive emails either from hotmail or fastmail I am having issues. I will receive 3 emails from hotmail account. I will delete them from my phone, but the next time it syncs with hotmail I will get those same 3 emails that I just deleted. This is also happening with fastmail. If I get new emails, I will get those plus the 3 that I deleted. I have no idea what to do, I tried deleting both accounts and started over with no luck. Any suggestions?

My hotmail emails come back after I delete it also but I just go to hotmail.com on my 700wx and erase them thru there also and they will not come back.

I know, I can go into my pc and delete them there. But this also does it for my fastmail account and there are times that I travel for a couple of days and dont bring my pc. So, it is hard to delete them on the road and to keep getting the same 6 or 7 emails plus new ones is not fun. Did not know if there is away to stop this from happening.

I've never tried fastmail so I dont kno about that 1 but im goin to check and see if hotmail has something in there settings that will keep an erased email from comin back.

all you have to do is delete the email message and let it stay in the deleted folders then when the device syncs with your account again it will be gone from deleted folders automatically and you won't get multiple emails of the same message the same applys to any webmail emails i hope this helps cause it works for me.

Wanted to say thanks to everyone here i have learned alot of information from you guys thus why i brought a treo 700wx and it works perfecty in the field and at the office THANK YOU!
