Hotmail on 700W

I set up a new hotmail account to use with the Treo 700W because I knew it would be a while until I figured out how to sync via work... I am not a longtime Hotmail user. I have been testing it and have not had good luck. I have not yet been able to send an email successfully from the hotmail account on the 700w. (I can send just fine via PC) The message comes back to say email sent successfully but it never arrives at its destination and it does not show up in the Sent folder. Any ideas? Ok, this may sound stupid, but this was my problem. After you're done typing the message, you have to hit Menu and click Send/Recieve for it to send the e-mail. I kept making e-mails and then thinking they were sent, but they sat in my Outbox waiting to be sent. Try send/recieve and THEN it should be in your Sent box.

Thanks for the note! I tried this and it seems to be something slightly different. I do successfully send it, and hotmail comes back and says I sent it successfully, but it is not in the sent folder, and it never arrives... using the same email address on the PC Version of the hotmail account the email is sent and arrives at its destination. I notice you do have to check a box to save a copy to the sent folder... does anyone know what the phone version of that checkbox is or how to find out?

when you are in hotmail window, tap menu----tools------options----select message on the bottom tab------then check "keep copies of sent items in sent folder"
