Exclamation How do I delete videos from memory card

I keep getting a "storage memory" pop up saying that my "storage memory is low". Im trying to delete video files but I keep getting a message that says

"there has been a sharing violation. the source or destination file may be in use"

My video files are stored on my storage card in the DCIM folder. Any ideas how to fix this problem. Thanks

when you have the device synched up on the usb to your desktop can you look at the contents of your mobile device on explore if you can see into the dcim folder on the card you should be able to highlight the video pull up a dialog box and delete it.

make sure you Media player is closed down befor you try to delete your video files. hold OK for 3 seconds to get the running program list to stop the media player.

ok I see what you are talking about. Now I have another question. It says that my starage card is only using 17.00mb andthat i have 1946.63 mb left, so i guess the problem is not with my storage card. now when i click on the main tabthe storage usage says in use 62.66 mb and that i only have .29 mb free so maybe this is what is causing this storage memory pop up. the problem is that I dont know what is safe to delete in the main memory and I dont even recall saving anything to my main memory.

if you are running low on main memory try cleaning your Internet files. From Internet explorer select Menu -> tools -> options. Hit the Memory tab, then hit the Delete Files button. If you use the internet a lot I suggest doing this every few weeks to recover space. Also if you make your own ringtones with MP3s they hog up a lot of space. If you are not useing them remove them from Start -> settings Select Sounds and Notifications and hit manage tab. You can remove your ringtones you are not using there.

Read your users guide the sections about making room or your device or copying or moving applications to an expansion card. Lots of things are saved to your main memory if you use the interenet on your device the temporary internet files and cookies are in your main memory and can be deleted by clearing your browser just like you would periodically clear it out on your desktop. desktop.
