Question How Do I Turn it Off?

I know this sounds like an insane question, but whenever I fly I need to turn my Treo 700 off and I can't. I know holding down the off button will turn it into flight mode or whatever you call it, but ALL electronics are supposed to be off during take off/landing, not just in flight mode. I usually just take the battery out but it's starting to drive me crazy. Can anyone help me?

    Thanks!

I don't think you can. I do the same thing you do, just take the battery out.

I have had my Treo for over 2 years. I fly several times a week. I put the Treo into flight mode, then just make press the red button to turn off the screen.

I have never had any problems or questions with this.

I fly with mine too, I turn off the phone(Radio) by holding down the power key. I usually disable the bluetooth just because. But other than that, its off! The palm functions willl still work, but that shouldn't interfere with the plane's hardware.

    Good luck,
