How do I view attachments on the Treo 700wx offered by Sprint?

I would like some assistance with receiving and opening attachments on a Palm Treo 700wx, which is offered by Sprint. What I believe is relevant information is as follows. I’m not on a Microsoft Exchange Server. I’m currently accessing an email account through hotmail. I have received 2 emails with attachments that I’m unable to open them on the Treo 700wx. I have spoken to Sprint. They said they have had a problem with Picture Mail on the Treo 700wx, which is suppose to be related to my ability to open attachments. This problem has been going on for about 2 months and they have no estimated uptime.

I’m looking for a work around. Any potential feedback is welcomed. Specifically, is there someone that is a Sprint Customer, using a Palm Treo 700wx, and is able to open attachments (not on a Microsoft Exchange Server)? If so, can you provide me the process and any relevant information? Thanks!

After 1/2 dozen phone calls to Sprint, I can now view attachments on my Treo 700wx. I was trying to view attachments through my hotmail account on the Treo. Sprint said this was not an option through hotmail. I then setup my Sprint Email Address. On the third attempt to set this up, Sprint noticed this account had not been setup on their end. Once they set this up, it worked just fine.
