How to get all my "Notes" from the old Palm 700 Palm OS to 700 Palm 700wx

A friend recently set up the transition from my old Palm 700 OS to the 700 wx. I now can't access the old "Notes" from the old phone on my new phone. They are still on the computer that I use to sync. Any suggestions?
