Default How to stop call log...???

Don't know what setting I changed and can't seem to undo it, but I need help.

When I hit the little green phone button to power-up my Treo-700w the today screen comes up as usual, but the call log screen automatically pops up, requiring me to hit the "ok"/close-program button to shut it down.

Not sure why this is happening, any thoughts?

... or enable the KeyGuard and no matter what key you hit you will have to hit the Center nav button before continuing

Hi there and dmgdoc

Fairly new to this Palm Treo having been a Harrier user for several years and the Palm beats it hands down.
Have a similar query to dmgdoc tho - pressing the green phone key brings up a list of recently called numbers, with the first two options being dial pad and call log. Then beneath that there are 9 of most recent calls I have made.
This list is slightly different from the call log which is accessed from the right menu key.I have found the setting where it will only keep a week of history in the Call Log - but unable to find anything relating to turning recent calls off.
Have accidently dialed the last number a couple of times due to this listing, but also the privacy of who you have called is also being lost.
Hopefully someone on here has an easy answer to get rid of recent calls being shown.
Cheers

I don't know if this is the fix you are searching (and I haven't done this since I want to keep my Call Log active) but can you hit the "Menu" key (right soft key) and choose "Call Log" then click "Menu" again and choose "Delete All Calls?" Also, under "Call Timers" you can choose to keep the history for 1 week, 1 year, never, etc.

Hi Darren ....
I have been thru those - did have history set to '1 week' but have now changed it to 'Never' to see if that makes any difference.
The list of recently called numbers still appears with the green Phone/Send key.
My manual had headings 'redialing a recently called number' and 'To select from your most recently dialed numbers'..... but nothing on how to clear that list. Perhaps the 'Never' setting I have just changed to might make some differs.

Is THAT why I just received a call from some International caller? Sweet! I'm in your Call Log now for the next week. Yay.

Yeah, you would want the shortest duration possible for your purpose.
