Music or Audio I love my treo/It makes me sad

I have a Treo 600 and I fell in love with it. I cannot hold a call on it and now it is dead. I have become a pro at sending and receiving data. I am a nursing student and the Treo simplified my life in many ways. I was using it for cross checking medications to spelling medical terminology. Now it's gone. Im trying to hold off for the 700. I dont know if I can though.

That is sad. Why not check on ebay and get a cheap one to tide you over. Sometimes you can find a decent used one for about $100, may not be cosmetically perfect, but it should help your withdrawal symptoms.

do keep in mind that as per reports the 700w will be available exclusively on verizon for the first six months... no problem if u're already on verizon though.

i dunno why but i think that the 700w is just not an upgrade to the treo 650. i'll wait for until the 700p is out and then grab it with both hands.. might take almost one year though

coming back to the original topic, i too think it's a good idea to look for a used n cheap replacement treo.. all the best for that.

Default Same thing happened to me

My phone over the last couple months has started to drop calls, and not even completely dial out a call. It even affected my text messaging. I called verizon and they replaced my treo 600 with no charge. I didn't even have insurance on it. It is brand new.

If you have verizon, I would take it in, they give you a phone number to call and the data phone service people take the case over.

Just as an aside, I too work in a hospital, and I can tell you, even though its great to have to keep history, logs, check meds, and disease data, the phones get slammed. The MRI machine is probably the buster in our case.

Good luck, and aviod the radiology department.
