Default Inserting "hard pauses" into stored number?

    Greetings,

I have a stored number that I would like to be able to contain multiple "hard pauses" (i.e. wait until I press a key before sending the next digits).

I want to use this to semi-automate calling SmartTraveller in the Boston area. For example, my route to work would have the following ("P" is the hard pause):

    *1P (call SmartTraveller)
954*P (check I-95 south of Boston)
1282*P (check Rt. 128 south of Boston)
1281* (check Rt. 128 north of Boston)

This is much easier to do while driving than keying in each digit.

I have had multiple phones that have had this capability, including a Windows-based phone (Samsung i600). My new Treo is more powerful is so many ways, but seems to be missing this basic feature.

I know about the "Extra Digits" speed-dial feature, and that would work if I only had one hard pause, but I have three. Is there some other way to make this work?

Have you tried to use multiple P's? I know I use pp for my voicemail as 1 p is not enough in most cases.
