Insurance Question

Hi Guys.i have the 700wx from Sprint.I have a insurance plan added on for 6 dollars a month.Does anyone know exactly what this gets me?I was told this is the best plan.Thanks in Advance

Did you not get a copy of the insurance policy and review it before you bought it or ask questions as to what's covered?

We'll i hope that you are covered by the policy. Cingular as mentioned does not offer it for treos, but there have been people who have signed up for insurance and paid for it and then when they have tried to file a claim have been told we dont cover treos. Always a good idea to read the fine print even if it takes a microscope.

It is the best from sprint. There basic plan $3.00 is to replace or repair the phone from any defects in workmanship. The total $6.00 (going to $7.00 by the way) covers water drops any thing. Only two claims a year then you are dropped or buy a new phone and they will let you sign up again.

I don't insure all my phones. I have four so at $24. a month or $288.00 a year I can buy a new one. I do have my daughters insured because she is well...my daughter.

I understand about the daughter that does not sound bad I wish cingular would do that I have bought a bunch of cheaper cell phones in the past that were not worth insuring on cingular's plans and then when I start buying treos they are covered under any insurance through the carrier.
