    Default internet explorer on tro 700

    hi, does anyone know if there is a way to run the full, non mobile version of internet explorer on the treo 700? My job requires me to log on to a site that will only run on internet explore 5.0 or later...any help would be appreciated, thanx in advance...dan...

    There are alternative browsers available. Netfront is one. Their latest version supports WM 5.0 and 240x240 screens.

    Unfortunately NetFront will work on just about every phone EXCEPT for the Treo 700w unless you strip it of any extensions you may have running. NF requires around 12-13MB of free RAM and unless you reboot with nothing installed, the Treo 700w doesn't give you enough RAM because the bastards at Palm put in only 32MB of RAM into the 700w. Palm shouldn't get any awards for the 700w, they should get stoned for it.

    Send Palm your thank you that your 700w that you just bought was outdated over a year ago.
