I tried it and got 497 in Dallas at my home. But my signal strengh at my home is 1 bar. Other places in Dallas I get the full 5 bars, but have not tested in one of those locations.
do you guys leave the evdo active? I read over @ howard forums that a couple of folks leave theirs on all the time, and don't notice too much that is different.
Did it again just now and got 668. I guess it's all about the time of day, atmosphere, brain waves and such that make the difference. Either way, I obviously don't know the reason, but I'm glad it can go very fast.
I'm constantly getting 150kbit here in atlanta, ga.
Which speed test are you guys doing? 5k, 50k, 100k, 200k, 600k? I did 100k and 200k, and got what i posted above. But, when I run the 600k test, it errors out.
what browser are you guys using? I'm using the opera for the test. It states that it doesn't support javascript, and may not report the test correctly
Ok, I ran the test again and I got 350 in PIE. Thats weird it got such a lower score in opera. I should probably let them know over @ their forums.
