Just wanted to say, "Hello" and introduce myself to this forum. I was on everythingq.com when I had the Q, and now that I am a Treo user....well, it just seemed natural for me to show up here.

I am new here also. I am switching to the 700wx, I am waiting for the FED EX man to bring me mine. I am currently using a Blackberry 7520.
I can actually say I am excited about switching phones.

I'm one also - I was using the HTP Harrier - a big clunky pda but it had the Windows OS and I was immediately at home with it and it became my right hand with its functionality and it meant I could go walking my dog without having to carry a cd player as well as my fone.
I am so pleased I havent got around to selling it as I have to go back to it while my Treo goes in for a software problem with txting.
To hnsimpson: why did you change from Motorola Q - I cut out an advert for it in some techie news before Motorola released it and was prepared to change networks to get one if it ever arrived in New Zealand - its still not here so I decided to just upgrade to Treo 700wx at xmas.
Its a shame we still havent really got many accessories here in NZ so have had to try and get what I want from USA - but good things come to those that wait yes?

I have the Q and was happy with it, but the company that I work for would not allow me to get my corporate email on my personal device. I protested....to no avail, so I sold the Q and got a Razr.

Then a buddy of mine showed me an add-on to our Lotus Notes that forwards my email to me....Bingo!


I had an opportunity to buy another Q, but I opted for the 700w for a number of reasons:

1- I didn't like how thin the Q was. It always felt brittle to me. The design of being that extremely thin and that wide I just didn't like.

2- Not being able to edit documents.

3- I like the touchscreen.
