Question Is it possible to watch TV on a Sprint Palm Treo 700wx?

I may already know the answer to this, but still wanted to ask. Is anyone watching TV on the Sprint Palm Treo 700wx?

Check out SlingBox, its the best thing ever. You buy this box for 140, and you hook it up to your cable box at your house. Then you are able to watch live TV on your treo 700wx.
Check out this link, this is on my old ppc6700, i have the treo 700wx now and its the same!

Informative What I know at this point about Watching TV on the 700wx.

The answer to the question about watching TV on the Sprint Palm Treo 700wx is yes. I purchased the PocketSteamer Deluxe. If the channel I want to watch is within the kb/s my device is currently at, I can watch that channel. For me, I do not recommend purchasing this application nor any other TV applications unless you are in the EV network. Most of the channels do not come in. I run a Mobile speed test and I'm around 80-100 kb/s. When I connect through this application, I range from 35-40 kb/s. This isn't enough. Peoria, Illinois is not one of the areas currently on the EV network.

There is good news to come for Sprint Customers. Below are two pieces of information I found from Sprint's website:

Get ready for high-speed wireless services optimized for data with Sprint Mobile Broadband. Up to ten times faster than current wireless speeds using the technology of EV-DO (Evolution Data Optimized). No matter the size of your company, anyone and everyone who relies on their notebook computer or their handheld device to conduct business remotely can benefit from the increased efficiency and productivity of wireless data access.

The evolution of Sprint's Mobile Broadband Network to EVDO Rev A is occuring in central business districts and airports initially, and expanding through the end of 3Q 2007 to cover our entire CDMA network.

I don't know if anyone cares about this information, simply thought I'd pass it on.

if you don't want to use the slingbox you can go to orb.com it's free and if you have a capture card you can hook it up to your dvr or upload movies to the site everything is free.

I second the vote for Orb. Check it out and best of all, it's free (if you already have a TV tuner card in your home PC and high-speed data access).
