Is Treo a bust?

I am a new Treo owner and so far have had a love-hate relationship with it. I have returned it 4 times since I purchased it three weeks ago because I cannot open email attachements or synch up with Outlook at home.

I love the Treo and its capabilities but I bought it so I can use office to modify attachements and to synch up with my home Outlook. Before I return this for the last time and go the Blackberry route, I am hoping someone here can offer some advice.

Let's start with the attachements. I have 3 POP3 email accounts pointed to Wireless synch. Wireless sych updates my email on the device fine but just can't open attachements. The email message tells me to "click here to download the rest of the message" but it never does.

Any ideas?

I receive attachments (up to several MB) just fine. Maybe try sending a very small text file as an attachment, and see if it makes it. Configure ActiveSync to go ahead and download attachments up 1024KM.

Have you checked the logs for Wireless Sync? See if there are any errors there?
