Default Its Bull $hit!!

Is it just me or has anyone else been experiencing a nose dive in the performance that you get with Verizon? I never had great service in my house but I could sit in the living room and talk with very few problems. That was until about 6 months ago. I have noticed that I can't connect to the web until the fourth or fifth try. I keep getting a message "no modem at above number. to check your connection settings click here " So I just keep trying to connect and after like 4 or 5 times it connects. Also I used to get maybe 1 or 2 dropped calls a month now I get 1 or two everyday. I call and complain every day and they tell me that they don't guarantee service inside buildings. So I told them that I have the same issues outside and while driving and they said I need to except that thats the way cell phones work................. Verizon " its the network " MY A$$ !!!

Informative Multi Devices & Sprint Too

FWIW, I have been experiencing the same thing with multiple T650/700P's. During my first 12 mos of service calls were dropped daily at all locations/times. This cleared up for 5 mos and has now become even worse. Sprint has sent techs up their 2 towers nearest to my main residence to check the equipment (there are 5 different carrier's towers near this residence as well). I am able to verify this as they phone me while on the tower and usually waive as they are well aware that we are able to see one another.

My devices are now constantly switching from provider to provider and from Sprint to roaming even more often. Often I wait for a call to go through and the devices simply time out. Sprint has also taken care of re provisioning their towers and all devices remotely as well as physically to no avail.

These issues have been occurring even more frequently as of late throughout the entire Phoenix metro area with no explanations. As we all know, dropped calls are a part of the cell "game" and to be expected but ....... I would not normally post anything of this nature but it has been extremely abnormal and YOU started it.

Data communications have been acting similarly. Good luck to one and all in this thread. If anyone else has ideas/comments...

J, I'm in South Phoenix and haven't noticed what you are experiencing. We may have more towers in the east valley.

I was beginning to think that it may have been something to do with Sprint, karma or just plain bad luck. Your input is most likely correct as most of my time in the Phoenix metro area is spent on/near the freeways of the east valley. When at my ranch in QC or in the middle of the desert things are just fine.

I am in the New York City area. The kicker is that even when I have 5 bars I still cant connect till 4 or 5 times. HORSE HOCKEY !!!

I definitely feel your pain. What service provider(s)? What mode (i.e. Normal/Roaming/etc...)?
