Default Just got my 700w! Love it but one small problem

Well I just got my Treow yesterday for me and my wife. I love this phone. How I got around before is beyond me.

This morning I tried to sync my Plantronics Voyager 510 and ever since then I can't receive calls. Now I don't know if it was me trying to sync the two together or just a fluke but now when someone calls me it rings like I'm not answering it and then goes to voicemail. I can still make calls and text msg but no incoming calls.

I read in another thread about the EV and the 1V next to the strength bars. The phone does the same thing with both of those up.

Also one thing I noticed was that I could not send pictures through txt messaging. Now I'm probably incorrect and need to do it a different way now but I was curious I how do you send a picture to another phone?

Default Use MMS

On the 700w you should use MMS to send pictures or video clips. I've had troubles playing video clips from my friends 650. All I hear is the sound, and all I see is the 1st frame in the clip.

Now, I also have the Plantronics 590a bluetooth headphones. Its funny you should mention that you're having troubles with the 510 headset. I was having troubles maintaining a connection between my headphones and 700w. So, I put a support ticket in with Plantronics. Right after doing this I saw the following

They told me that no Plantronics bluetooth headsets are compatible with the 700w. Which is not true b/c I have the Plantronics Explorer 320 and it works fine with my 700w. Theres some static at times, but I get good range.

I've had my phone since the day it came out, and I like it. I wouldn't say I love it. The EVDO wasn't that impressive. The memory is still in issue even after the firmware update (although this was resolved with the 700wx, it doesn't help me unless I spend more money). Would I buy a slimmer faster antenna-less version? Yep! sorry for rant.

anyway im making the switch to cingular and the 8525. good luck, and hope the info above helps.
