I was able to get 1350 Minutes and unlimited Internet for 100.00 a month through Verizon at Circuit City. The Unlimited Internet was 30.00 for me.. So I m not sure why some paid 45.00 I think this is something thats flexible?!
Can anyone recommend the best Blue tooth for the 650 or 700w? I want to press the button and say call home etc...
If you get the bundle plans then the 700w monthly bill will be less. If you already have a voice plan, well, you will get killed with that data $$$. Gotta love the way VZW is

Check out Treonauts.com as they did a recent BT headset review of many popular headsets. You will then want to download a program that does voice command as it is not built in for both systems.
after a very brief test drive of the 650. I was very pleased with the 650 but to be honest, I have nothing to compare it to. as for the 700w. I find the windows OS to be a whole lot easier to get through. I have yet to figure out how to use the voice dial. I must say the number of devices I have been able to stop toting around, makes it worth every penny. Chris, I want to thank you for all the info that is put together in one spot. The browser disconnecting is something I have seen firsthand by anouther customer that returned her phone after being advised by the Tech Dept. to do so. The second one did the same. I have not tried to connect yet. thats for when I get a bit more familiar. More to come later.
well, after just a day of playing with this newest Treo product and the initial thoughts on how easy the Windows OS is I have tried in vain to get anything to work with the comp. The Treo works well by itself but I can't get any software to work on my comp that is running Windows XP. The 650 was a breeze in this department with many features I liked ie: Ebooks, the games, Hotsync, ect. Now to check out the blutooth stuff. Wish me luck folks.

I am new to the forum, looks like an interesting group of posters/posts so I thought I would jump in.
Just got my 700 two days ago. I love the phone, except for a couple of problems (to be expected with a brand new item).
1. Freezing up once a day, a simple pull of the battery seems to fix it.
2. The disconnect problem that someone was asking about in an earlier post to this forum. The problem is for POP mail users (like myself). As soon as the mailbox update is complete, the broadband connection is disabled. it's really not too bad, as it will automatically reconnect when it is time for the next auto udpate. Where it is a pain is when I go to surf via IE, I have to wait a few seconds for the broadband connection to be made to the network. As I said, it's a bit of a pain, but it is not much of an inconvenience until they come up with a fix.
What I love about the 700:
1. The camera resolution is great, pictures look fantastic. I have also read that the screen res is poor, but it looks great to me.
2. Very easy to setup and get running with wireless sync
3. WIndows OS is easy to use. Came over from a 600, so it took me a day or so to get used to everything, but ease of use is high. The "today" page is very easy to work off of and the start menu is familiar to any windows PC user.
4. It is nice to have the MS office apps included
5. Surfing is WICKED fast (yes, I am from Boston). This is a major improvement to say the least.
Overall i am very happy with the phone. I generally don't like to early adopt, but my 600 died this weekend after a long and illustrious career, I needed to replace it and the new features were intriguing enough to make the leap.
Hey Chris. Been on and off this site checking to see your final report on the 700. Have you posted it yet? I need to come to some conclusion on either the 650 or 700 and your imput is definately going to sway me. Thanks.
I'm finishing it up right now and in the process of posting it. I'm afriad it's a bit "wordy". I believe the word document weighed in at 17 pages.
-Chris
