Keyboard Light Off Settings?

I have been poking around in the settings and can't find any way to timeout the keyboard lights...

My concerns are:

(1) When docked, I usually have my PoketPC LCD on. For somereason, I am more worried about the keyboard backlights getting dimmer than the screen backlight over time...
(2) I use the Treo to read eBooks in bed in near dark. The keyboard lights are way brighter than I like to keep the screen in this situation.
(3) Obviously this affects battery life.

It is called KB LIghtsOff but it appears to only be for the Palm OS. Sure looks like exactly what I need... is there a version or similar program for the 700w?

Sure seems like something that should be built into the phone...
