Default Keys move all together

On my Treo, when you a key I notice that the surrounding keys also more. I have also notices that if I put one finger on a key and hold it and then move it, all the plastic keys more at the same time.

Has anyone noticed this or do I have a unit that needs repair? Is ths a user repairable item?

I have the same thing. For example, if I hit the 6 button, I see the 3 button go down a bit. I wouldn't worry about it. Hasn't affected anything on my input.

I know what you are saying about touching 6 and have 3 go down a little. I see that as no problem.

But what I am talking about is say touch and hold 6 (don't press on it very hard) and just move your finger in a circular fashion. When I do this all keys go in the same circular motion. I assume this is becasue the keys actually one sheet of rubber. But is like mine is not tight behind the holes in the pastic case.

Does your move this way?

Yes, you can see the whole keyboard move. I woudn't worry about it. I've pulled iBook keyboards apart and yes it was one sheet of rubber. I'm guessing same thing with the 700, but on a smaller scale.
