Default Leaving Messages on Server

I need to be able to "leave the messages on the server" with my 700wx, just as I did with my Treo 650. I can't find the option to do that. Can someone tell me how I can do this. It's VERY important. Thanks.

Are you using a POP3 account?

I'm looking into that issue but I have a yahoo account (sbcglobal.net) I am using with my 700wx and it always leaves the message on the server. If I come across something I will let you know.

That's exactly what I have (maiahsdad@sbcglobal.net). It's so weird! On my Treo 650 I could even mark the messages as READ or UNREAD just like I can on my 700wx, but on the 700wx, it leaves it the same on the server. On the 650, it would actually connect to the server and mark them unread. And even though I had read them, when I got back to my desktop, they were in bold as if I hadn't. That helped me to not look over them and forget to address them. I'm so confused as how this phone could come with LESS aptitude than my 650. And now it's too late for me to go to a 700p with Sprint. I just don't know what to do now.My job requires me to be able to read and possibly respond to emails while out in the field. It's great if I need to speak to the person that emailed me, I can be aware of the syntax, and still KEEP their email for documentation. But I don't want to keep 500 emails in my inbox for fear of losing them. My 700wx is already sluggish enough as it is. Tech support is NO help. Everyone says.. "This device is so new that we're not really set up for that level of tech support. Wow....

My 700wx is also very sluggish. Has anyone figured out the problem? It can take up to 5 - 10 minutes checking e-mail - gives the appearance that it's locked up but eventually comes around. Very frustrating.
