You will need a memory cleaner like MemMaid to remove duplicate notifications from the notification queue. When you set an alarm say for 5 days and check the box and save the alarms are set to the notification queue and when you cancel the alarm sometimes they are not removed. After the 5 days the alarms will stop on there own. To remove them manually you will need a memory cleaner. SK tools is also an alternative to do this. I hope this helps

No, thar all pay programs but they are very inexpensive (like $15) and well worth the money

Thanks. My Treo700x is really "dragging" sometimes. I can tap to initiate something, and have to wait as if it can't go very fast. Like when I tap OK to close a box, it takes a few seconds to close.

Have you tried a soft reset? Also 3rd party programs can often cause some problems. Have you added any programs lately? The slow downs are most likely coming from something that has been added. Do you have a 700wx or a 700w? Press and hold the OK button then close all ruining programs if there are a lot of programs ruining in the background this can cause slowdowns in the 700w. Also clear IE cache by going to Internet Explorer/menu/tools/options/memory tab and delete files. IE will continue to add cache files I have had as much as 15 megs in cache files some times. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I have a WX. I loaded the trial for Resco Explorer 2005. I guess after the 15 days, I'll get my device locked up...

It doesn't lock your device Resco just quits working. WX is the way to go the memory is really tanked up. Programs ruining in the background really have no effect on the performance.

My 700w has developed the nasty habit of giving me a "reminder" of my alarms 1 hour early. this is not good when you use the alarms to wake up! It is not consistent, I have bought Memmaid which is a great program but it doesn't find duplicates. Last night I ran MM adv cleaner and looked for dupllicate notifications (none) AND did a soft reset and my 7:15 alarm set off a "reminder" at 6:15....Any other ideas?
